Primedia successfully launches e-broadcast service

Primedia International Launches Bahrain’s First Personalized WAP Service


Primedia International, the region’s pioneering leader in directory/guide publishing, launched Bahrain’s first mobile Yellow Pages on WAP this week. Consumers can now access Primedia’s WAP service through Bahrain’s major web portal: www.bahrainyp.com Mobile users across Bahrain now have easier access to information while on the move.

WAP is an open international standard for application layer network communications in a wireless communication environment. WAP enables access to the Mobile Web from a GPRS enabled mobile phone or PDA.
